THE STORY OF LUMINA SPES
In December 2023, Niclas Braun, a deep-tech entrepreneur with a vision for a safer future, founded Lumina Spes. Frustrated by the limitations of existing methods to manage the risks of advanced AI - such as superalignment - Niclas sought a new path. He envisioned solutions that would not control AI, but rather shield humanity from its potential dangers.
Niclas assembled a team of experts dedicated to this mission. Together, they explored innovative ways to create passive safeguards that could protect against the unforeseen consequences of AGI and ASI. This collective effort gave birth to Lumina Spes, meaning "light on hope."
